The redesigned OMS guide and Leadership Playbook turn each session into practical action.
Audience + business context

Managers developing essential leadership skills through a flexible series that organizations can deliver as a complete journey or as targeted modules.

Ryan's contribution

Ryan led the curriculum architecture, content rewriting, presentation redesign, participant-material strategy, and Leadership Playbook concept.

Collaborators: Developed with program stakeholders and facilitators responsible for delivery and reinforcement.

The challenge

The program contained strong management content, but its 100-page participant booklet and aging presentation materials no longer supported the way people learn or facilitators teach. Participants needed clearer, more focused sessions. Facilitators needed a flexible structure that could be delivered as a complete series or adapted to specific leadership needs.

Constraints

Strong legacy content had to be preserved while a 100-page booklet and aging presentations were restructured for shorter sessions, flexible scheduling, and on-the-job application.

The response

The content was rewritten and reorganized into ten standalone 90-minute modules covering core management skills, from communication and motivation to conflict, feedback, and onboarding. Each module received a rebuilt PowerPoint presentation and focused participant materials. A Leadership Playbook connects the series and gives participants a place to capture insights, apply ideas to themselves and their relationships, set goals, and build personal action plans.

Why this format

Ten focused modules make the program easier to sequence around organizational priorities and easier for participants to absorb. The shared playbook preserves continuity across the series and turns separate sessions into one development journey.

What was created

  • Ten standalone 90-minute ILT modules
  • Rewritten participant materials focused on one leadership capability at a time
  • Rebuilt PowerPoint presentations with clearer structure and stronger visual support
  • A Leadership Playbook for reflection, application, and personal action planning
  • Flexible delivery as a complete series or a selection of targeted modules
  • Practical activities and facilitator-led discussion built into each session

What the design enables

The refresh turned one long, aging course into a flexible learning system. Facilitators can sequence modules around organizational priorities, participants can focus on one skill at a time, and the Leadership Playbook carries insights from the classroom into concrete actions on the job.
